Sculptor Gregory Kloehn has dubbed his grassroots, community-oriented initiative in Oakland "the Homeless Homes Project". Junked materials are transformed into low-cost, ultra-tiny homes for people living on the streets. Life expectancy at birth for both men and women is globally an average of 70 years
This represents a six-year increase since 1990, according to a new health-statistics report from the World Health Organization. The average for women is 73 years; for men, 68 years.
