Last week, I posted an interview I did with Karenna Gore, the Director of the Center for Earth Ethics, for my Interviews with the Leading Edge video interview series.
You can see the full interview here: Karenna Gore interview
One of the things we talked about during the course of our conversation was the seriousness of the climate change issue and how the Trump administration is turning a blind eye to it. Within that conversation, we talked about how and why we must stay hopeful about it.
In the above short video clip, entitled “Why We Must Stay Hopeful,” excerpted from the full interview, Karenna talks about the need for looking at all the negatives that are happening with the environment and instead of being overcome by anger and frustration, using it instead to fuel the positive.
Further, Karenna states this is the moment we have waited for: there is nothing that occurs by accident; instead there is a deeper purpose and meaning to the situation we currently find ourselves in.
Looking at it in this way, Karenna points out, can help us see that what is needed at this point in time is connection.
I’m sure you’ll enjoy the above short clip for its hopeful and thoughtful message.
I have a new free six-day email course that I am offering, entitled Enlightened Living: 6 Ways to Build an Authentic, Serene and Healthy Life. Read more about it here: The Enlightened Living Course or you can just sign up below to receive the course.
