In my previous article, Getting Past What the F**k, I talked about the tumultuous time we live in, and that every day is a What the F**k moment, thanks to the current occupant of the White House and his manner of operating, which is to promote lies, distortions, hate, and crazy.
I said in that prior article how not too long ago – though it now seems like another lifetime ago – I was writing articles on the idea of a Quantum Revolution, the movement towards the creation of a more enlightened, sustainable and holistic society. It seemed like there were real shifts going on, with an evolution of consciousness and evolution of more enlightened thinking taking place. It appeared that the possibility of a transition to a more evolved open culture was a real one and not just a pipedream.
I then added that now I feel like I’m treading water, trying to keep afloat, and that this movement towards a Quantum Revolution is on hold. There has been so much crazy going on that it feels like crazy is now the main entree on the menu.
I stated that it doesn’t have to be this way and that we will get past all this What the F**k. There is a lot of positive going on all around us, but unfortunately it is getting drowned out by the crazy.
Indeed, it is a very chaotic and disruptive time right now, but from the ashes of chaos springs new life and new order. It is time to get past What the F**k and enter into the realm of Strawberry Fields.
What do I mean by that?
Recently, I paid a visit to Strawberry Fields in New York, the area in Central Park that was established as a living memorial to John Lennon by his widow, Yoko Ono.
Strawberry Fields was officially dedicated on October 9, 1985, the 45th anniversary of John Lennon’s birth, and was named after one of John’s favorite songs, Strawberry Fields Forever. Yoko Ono worked with landscape architect Bruce Kelly and the Central Park Conservancy to create the meditative spot.
In the center of the area, there is a mosaic created by Italian craftsmen and given as a gift by the city of Naples. Based on a Greco-Roman design, it bears the word of another of Lennon’s songs: Imagine. A designated Quiet Zone in the Park, the memorial is shaded by stately American elms and lined with benches. In the warmer months, flowers bloom all around the area. Along the path near the mosaic, you’ll find a bronze plaque that lists the 121 countries that endorse Strawberry Fields as a Garden of Peace.
Strawberry Fields is a sacred site, one that is visited year round by people from all over the world. The video at the top of this page is from a recent visit I made there, and as you can see, the main attraction of Strawberry Fields is the mosaic with the word Imagine.
It is Imagine that is the answer to getting us past What the F**k. I don’t mean that you should just sit around and imagine, and that it will all get better. What I mean is that we are being called to Imagine, to open our minds to the greater whole, and then to put that into motion with our thoughts, behaviors and actions.
This is an important turning point in history, a time that has the potential for a great awakening. It is a time of a pronounced disruption, and this disruptive energy will shake you to your core and liberate your heart and mind from the stagnation of living a status quo existence.
We are being called to awaken, to open our minds, to see far and wide, to crack open and enter the realm of the new, the innovative, the bold. It is a time to be a peaceful warrior, a warrior of the light, a warrior of the imagination.
It is time to move past the comfort zones of your own making and start living on your leading edge. This is the path to living a sacred life. Go ahead and create a Strawberry Fields in your own life, a place that is sacred, a place that you can see the whole by using your power to Imagine.
It’s an extremely toxic lifestyle to live overcome by What the F**k, because it creates too much hate and anger in your heart and mind. Instead, live by going from What the F**k to Strawberry Fields. In Strawberry Fields, living is easy with eyes closed and there’s nothing to get hung about.
We are moving towards an evolved open culture. What you are being asked to do is to use your discerning intelligence and discerning wisdom to open your heart and mind to what is possible, and also, impossible. It is actually creating the impossible that will take us to Strawberry Fields Forever.
Imagine is the credo of Strawberry Fields. It’s time to go there – so let me take you down, cause I’m going to Strawberry Fields.
I hope you can see this and understand this transformation we are going through.
I am in the process of making a documentary film, entitled From What the F**k to Strawberry Fields, to help us understand this better. As production of the film commences, I will be posting video clips and updates on my blog and also on my Facebook and Twitter pages.
As our society continues to move and evolve, through all the ups and downs of living in these disruptive times, it is good to have a road map to help with the navigation and to be inspired to join the movement towards an evolved open culture. For you personally, it will mean living a happier, healthier and more fulfilled life, and for our society and world, it will mean living on a more peaceful planet.
Let’s go from What the F**k to Strawberry Fields.
