Seattle Develops Nation’s First ‘Food Forest’
Seattle is leading the way by developing the nation’s first ‘food forest’ filled with hundreds of edible plants, free to anyone and everyone. Volunteers have carved the Beacon Food Forest public garden from two acres of Seattle Public Utilities.
