Angelou's life is a shining example of triumph over adversity. When she was 7, her mother’s boyfriend raped her. Artist transforms trash into awesome tiny homes for the homeless
Sculptor Gregory Kloehn has dubbed his grassroots, community-oriented initiative in Oakland "the Homeless Homes Project". Junked materials are transformed into low-cost, ultra-tiny homes for people living on the streets. The idea is to "diminish money's influence over the building process," with Kloehn and the team collecting building materials from illegal dumps and household and commercial waste.
