This past November, the Canadian born philosopher and spiritual teacher John de Ruiter was in New York City for a few days, holding meetings. John travels the world teaching, and he came to NY in support of his new book, “The Intelligence of Love.”
John’s core message is that the true way to live is to live by what you know is true, and if you are not sure what is true, then to acknowledge to yourself that you don’t know, which then helps you allow it to unfold through a commitment to honesty and truth.
He says that knowing, which is the link between consciousness and truth, is always discernible within profound honesty. Knowing is the beginning of a pure heart, a healthy mind and body, and leads to the realization of meaning.
While John was in NY, I spent a little time talking with him and exploring his teachings. Above is a video excerpt from our conversation.
