Twelve Nobel peace prize winners have urged President Barack Obama to release a damning report by the US Senate into the use of torture in the early years of the War on Terror. In an open letter, the laureates demand “full disclosure” of the extent of American use of torture and warn the practice set an example to the world that has “made us all vulnerable”, not least American soldiers.
