Research finds applying an electrical current to the brain can stimulate lucid dreaming

The findings come from a new study that found that lucid dreaming (where you control your dreams) could be induced with a simple electrical current passed across the frontal lobe.

The researchers found that when the electrical current was a very specific frequency — between 25 and 40Hz — a full 70% of participants experienced lucid dreams. No current or the wrong frequency resulted in 0 lucid dreams.
