The Globe and Mail reported on recent research that suggests that meditation can improve your health.
Published in the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine, the study found that students who practiced meditation increased their levels of immunoglobulin A (which is a substance that identifies invaders such as viruses and bacteria so that they can be destroyed by your immune system) and that the levels kept increasing over the course of the four-week study.
So take time out each day to relax, and try meditation – you’ll be doing your body, mind and your immune system a lot of good.
